Jonny D and Extreme Weather

There seems to be a lot of extreme weather these days, and its effects can be more damaging than you think. One hot summer, a pal of mine was doing a secret show in a basement.

While he was waiting to perform, he decided to store his bass guitar in the trunk of his car. In doing so, he paid little attention to the soaring heat that was slowly baking his vehicle.

When he finally got on stage to play, he noticed the action on his favourite instrument was alarmingly high. He did his best to tune his bass, only to have the neck come free from the body.

The glue holding the neck joint together had become so soft in the soaring heat that the whole thing fell apart. So remember, folks, take care of your instruments, or they just might fall apart too.
