ABOUT
The Last Ghosts are wanted men. They live in a society where all music is banned. In the middle of the 21st century, the ruling power of the land of the United Republic of Britain, Government Federal, also known as Gov-Fed, faced ever-greater civil disobedience. A growing anti-political movement against its policies had started to use music as a platform for their growing dissatisfaction.
After one of the biggest riots in history, sparked by the music festival ‘Smoke,’ the Social Noise Pollution Act was passed. All music in any consumable format was banned. Armed Gov-Fed troops now police the streets with strict orders to arrest and charge anyone listening, watching, manufacturing, or performing music. As a result of this, all music has now gone underground.
Formed just before the Social Noise Pollution act became law, the band Last Ghosts, like many others, refused to lay down to the new law. They continue to produce music illegally and play in the newly established underground clubs that exist all over the city. This can be a dangerous affair due to the fact that all the clubs are run by the mob that now makes millions in providing illegal music for the masses.
Since the successful release of their debut album the Last Ghosts have now come to the attention of Lazarus, head of the SNP division. He is determined to track down and arrest the Last Ghosts and put a stop to their actions. Due to this fact, the Last Ghosts are now on the run, living off the support of their friends and fans as they continue to try to exist as a band.
